Downtown’s gourmet hotdog restaurant wants to remind you that they are that and more. The Missing Link, 504 Texas Street, is all about the ‘dog, from beef to alligator and sausage to pork. There are hamburgers, too, a $10 quarter-pound house burger, with sides that include rosemary & garlic fries, and fries topped with crawfish etoufee. There is a Vegan burger option, and salads, a giant Cobb or Caesar. Don’t forget the dessert! Their fun sweet potato fries dessert takes the dish in a different direction with cinnamon and icing, or warm beignets smothered in cinnamon sugar and icing. The Missing Link is open Mon.-Sat. for lunch and Fri.-Sat. for dinner.
